- Greg Oslan RiskSense Executive Chairman
Greg Oslan is currently Managing Partner at OSG Consulting where he provides strategic business and operations guidance to companies in the analytics, telecommunications, and cyber security markets. His work includes business planning, product/service strategies, go-to-market strategies and plans, organizational design, employee mentoring and Board work, with specific emphasis on early- to mid-stage companies.
Prior to founding OSG, Oslan was a Boeing Executive and President and Chief Executive Officer of Narus Inc., which he sold to Boeing (NYSE BA) in 2010. He has also served as Executive Chairman of Fixmo, Inc; Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Wireless Online; President and Chief Operating Officer of CNET Inc; and was a founding partner in an early stage venture capital fund. Oslan began his career with AT&T in software development and networking and went on to hold management positions within Ameritech in their strategy, consulting, and wireless organizations. Oslan currently serves on the Advisory Boards of Raytheon (NYSE RTN), ThreatStream, Rainstor, and the Indiana University Kelley School of Entrepreneurship; as a partner at Paladin Capital, a Senior Advisor to the Chertoff Group, and is an advisor on several U.S. Government cyber initiatives.
Oslan holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Indiana University.
- Mourad Yesayan RiskSense Director - Principal, Paladin Capital Group
Mourad is a Principal at Paladin Capital Group, focused on technology and alternative energy investments.
Prior to joining Paladin in 2009, Mourad was VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at Pacific Ethanol, a leading Nasdaq-listed producer and distributor of renewable fuel, where he led the build-out of the company’s financial planning and risk management functions during a period of rapid growth in operations and nearly tenfold increase in revenue to over $700 million. He also played a key role in structuring and negotiating over $500 million of equity and debt financing working with major institutional investors and a global lender syndicate. Prior to Pacific Ethanol, Mourad was a senior consultant at a Central California-based boutique advisory firm focused on M&A, turnaround, and restructuring assignments for middle market clients.
He received his M.B.A. and B.S. degrees from California State University, Fresno.
- Sally Corning RiskSense Director - Founding Partner, Sun Mountain Capital
Sally Corning is a founding partner of Sun Mountain Capital, a private equity firm that has over $900 million in assets under management with investment strategies in both direct investment and fund of funds programs spanning venture capital, mezzanine debt, and growth equity.
Corning has over 30 years of experience in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, structuring transactions, and raising equity and debt capital in both the public and private markets. She has worked in investment banking at Dean Witter Reynolds, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Suisse. Prior to forming Sun Mountain Capital, Corning worked for 13 years in Credit Suisse’s Private Placement Group, where she led the evaluation of numerous companies and fund sponsors and structured, marketed, and executed over 40 private transactions. Corning is a Board Member of Sun Mountain Capital's portfolio company xF Technologies, as well as a Board Observer for Sun Mountain’s investment in Sundrop Fuels. Past investments include nanoMR (acquired by DNAe). Corning also serves on the Limited Partner Advisor Committee for a number of private equity funds, is an Independent Trustee for the Thornburg Investment Trust, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Venture Capital Association.
Corning has an Masters of Business Administration from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Georgetown University.
- Bill Bradley RiskSense Director - Senior Vice President of Cyber Engineering and Technology Services, CenturyLink
During his tenure as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer, Bradley’s leadership was fundamental in CenturyTel’s acquisition of Embarq in 2009, creating CenturyLink, successfully integrating hundreds of applications, converting millions of customers to a single consumer billing system, and tripling the scale of the IT organization. Building on this experience, he also contributed to CenturyLink’s acquisition of Qwest in 2011, doubling the scale of the IT organization to support millions of customers and more than 40,000 employees. Following these acquisitions, Bradley’s focus on creating a “one company” mindset helped set the foundation for the technological and cultural transformation at CenturyLink.
Bradley has a passion for innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit, illustrated by his efforts to establish CenturyTel as an Internet Service Provider in 1997. He continues this theme of innovation in his current role. Bradley also provides his expertise to several academic boards at Louisiana Tech University, promoting the growth of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and developing collaborative relationships between industry and academic organizations.
Bradley is a Louisiana native and graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Computer Science.
- John N. Stewart RiskSense Director - Chief Security and Trust Officer, Cisco
John N. Stewart formed and leads Cisco's Security and Trust Organization as the company’s Chief Security and Trust Officer, underscoring Cisco's commitment to address two of the most critical issues that are top of mind for boardrooms and world leaders alike. Under Stewart's leadership, the organization's core missions include protecting Cisco's public and private customers, enabling and ensuring Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle and Trustworthy Systems efforts across Cisco's portfolio, and protecting the Cisco enterprise from ever-evolving cyber threats.
Throughout his 25-year career, Stewart has led or participated in widely ranging security initiatives from IT design for elementary schools to national security programs. In addition to his role at Cisco, he sits on technical advisory boards for Area 1 Security, BlackStratus, Inc., and Threatstream. In addition to RiskSense, he is a member of the Board of Directors for Shape Security, Shadow Networks, Inc., and the National Cyber-Forensics Training Alliance (NCFTA). He also serves as a special advisor to Redseal's Board of Directors. Additionally, Stewart serves on the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Cyber Security Review panel and on the Cybersecurity Think Tank at University of Maryland University College. He served on the CSIS Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th United States Presidency and on advisory boards for many companies including Akonix, Cloudshield, Finjan, Fixmo, Inc., Ingrian Networks, Nok-Nok Labs, Riverhead, and TripWire. Stewart is a highly sought public and closed-door speaker and most recently was recognized with the RSA 2015 Award for Excellence in Security. Other recent honors include the global 2014 Golden Bridge Award for CISO of the Year, as well as the CSO 40 Silver Award for Chief Security Officer of the Year in 2014.
Stewart has a Master of Science degree in computer and information science from Syracuse University.
- William Dennis Peterson RiskSense Director
William Dennis Peterson has spent his career working in higher education, including fifteen years at the University of Utah. His final assignment was Director of Media Services overseeing the operation of KUED Channel 7 and KUER radio 91.5 FM. He accepted the position of Vice President for Administration and Finance at New Mexico Tech University and retired to Utah after twenty-seven years in that position.
Peterson’s public service included membership on the Board of Directors of The Rocky Mountain Corporation for Public Broadcasting; fifteen years as a member of the New Mexico State Investment Council; twelve years as Chairman of the New Mexico State Venture Capital Investment Committee; and four years as Vice Chairman of the New Mexico Finance Authority. Those appointments were made by the Governor and confirmed by the New Mexico State Senate. After retirement he served a two-year term during the legislative session as a Senior Analyst for the President Pro Tempore of the New Mexico State Senate, Board of Directors Member of the New Mexico Research Park Corporation, and President and member of the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Tech Research Foundation.
Peterson graduated from the University of Utah in 1971.
- Srinivas Mukkamala, Ph.D. RiskSense Director - CEO and Co-Founder
Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala is co-founder and CEO of RiskSense. Mukkamala has been researching and developing security technologies for over 15 years, working on malware analytics (focuses on medical control systems and nontraditional computing devices), breach exposure management, Web application security, and enterprise risk reduction.
Mukkamala was one of the lead researchers for CACTUS (Computational Analysis of Cyber Terrorism against the US). He has been published in over 120 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of information assurance, malware analytics, digital forensics, data mining, and bioinformatics. He has a patent on Intelligent Agents for Distributed Intrusion Detection System and Method of Practicing.
Mukkamala received his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras, before obtaining his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science from New Mexico Tech.
