Cyber Security Risk Management Platform Shortlisted for Best Risk/Policy Management Solution and Best Vulnerability Management Solution

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Jan. 29, 2018 – RiskSense®, Inc., the pioneer in threat and vulnerability management, today announced it made the shortlist for two 2018 SC Media Trust Awards. The RiskSense platform is a finalist for both Best Risk/Policy Management Solution and Best Vulnerability Management Solution.

Now in its 21st year, SC Awards is recognized as the industry gold standard of accomplishment for cybersecurity professionals, products and services. RiskSense was selected for its ability to detect new and/or unknown threats and manage cyber risks at scale, across the network, applications, web, databases, IoT devices and OT networks while shortening the window where attackers can exploit flaws.

“RiskSense has demonstrated that they are among the best in the industry at both Vulnerability Management and Risk/Policy Management,” said Illena Armstrong of SC Media. “Finalists for the Trust Awards are selected by a panel of approximately 100 professionals and the SC Magazine product reviews team. It’s a high bar to clear and we are proud to acknowledge RiskSense as a finalist in both categories.”

“RiskSense is honored to be a finalist in not one, but two, categories of the prestigious SC Awards program,” said Jill Kyte, vice president of marketing for RiskSense. “The RiskSense Platform helps organizations identify, prioritize and guide remediation of cyber risks by applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to both threat and vulnerability management. We provide value from the security operations center all the way to the boardroom.”

RiskSense has pioneered an intelligence-driven, proactive approach to threat and vulnerability management. Using an attacker’s viewpoint, human-interactive AI and machine learning, the RiskSense platform examines the entire attack surface, including the network, applications, endpoints, web, databases, IoT devices and OT networks. Using patented technology, the RiskSense platform contextualizes internal security intelligence (e.g., vulnerability scanners and configuration management systems), external threat data (e.g., exploits, malware, threat actors, reputational intelligence), and factors in the business criticality of assets. This enables organizations to identify imminent cyber risks and prioritize remediation efforts for physical and virtual assets based on exploitability and business impact.
